My UX Journey
At my core, I am a “people person”. I love to share stories and contextualize how different people view and understand the world around them.
My passion for facilitating cross-cultural communication and comparative studies provided me with a strong background in qualitative and quantitative research methods, award-winning instructional skills, communication skills, and the ability to work and live in different cultural systems.
The unique skill set (and enthusiastic attitude) I developed during my time earning my doctorate revealed a passion for content strategy and user research as a way to capture what I most loved about my research.
Over the past two years, I have gained professional mentorship opportunities and educational support from a strong local community of ux researchers, content strategists, and web developers. Currently, I serve as a volunteer for civic projects and work full time as a Learning Experience Designer.
